MSL, Inc.

The Maryland Student Legislature, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors. The Board carries out several essential functions. While the MSL program is student-led, the Board bears responsibility for ensuring that MSL, Inc. remains, legally, financially, and ethically stable, and remains focused on its mission of educating students about the political process and preparing them for careers in law and public policy.

Members of the Board are elected by the Board and serve two-year terms, with new members subject to a one-year probationary period. The elected student Governor of MSL also serves on the Board for the duration of their term.
