10                             A RESOLUTION URGING HILLARY CLINTON

20               		    TO RUN FOR NEW YORK SENATE



30	WHEREAS:	Even though Hillary Clinton has never lived in New York she is

40 			still considering running for the open Senate seat in the year 2000;

50			and,



60	WHEREAS:	She has not allowed a strong Democratic candidate from NY Nita

70			Lowery to run for the open seat; and, 



80	WHEREAS:	Hillary Clinton running for the seat will pull away a lot of media 

90			attention from the Democratic Presidential Candidate; and,



100	WHEREAS:	Hillary Clinton will also pull a lot of money and contributions 

110			from the Democratic Presidential Candidate; and,



120	WHEREAS:	Hillary Clinton will be facing a very tough NY style race against

130 			the current Mayor Rudy Guilani; and,



140	WHEREAS:	It is not only Democrats but also Republicans that urge Hillary

150			Clinton to run for the open NY Senate seat.



160	THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:	That the Maryland Student 

170			Legislator urges Hillary to run for the open NY Senate seat in the

180			year 2000.
