10 A RESOLUTION CONCERNING 20 THE EXPANSION OF RIGHTS FOR THE INCLUSION OF ILLEGAL 30 WORKERS BY THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 40 COMMISSION 50 WHEREAS: The basic foundations of polity are inclusive that for society to 60 advance and succeed, all citizens must subscribe to said polity and 70 prescribe to standards of mutual contribution and establishment; 80 and, 90 WHEREAS: Non-citizens who participate in the rewards of the polity but 100 without the contributions and sacrifices that the citizens bear the 110 burden of are proven to not hold the tenants of said society in 120 equal esteem; and, 130 WHEREAS: Those who have no understanding of or respect for the laws of a 140 polity are nothing but a detriment to the stability of said polity; 150 and, 160 WHEREAS: To allow a non-citizen to disregard the established laws of a polity 170 and to profit from that disregard is a sever injustice and violation 180 of the trust given by each citizen of the polity who must bear the 190 burdens of citizenship in order to reap profit from said polity; and, 200 WHEREAS: The cost of the rewards reaped by non-citizens who disregard the 210 laws of the polity and collect these rewards illegally is a direct 220 theft of influence and justice from the polity in its entirety as a 230 social-contract entity and of each individual citizen; and, 240 WHEREAS: Injuries incurred by law-breakers while in the act of law-breaking 250 cannot be allowed to be remunerable and reparable, such as the 260 instance where a burglar is injured while in the house in which he 270 is both trespassing and intent on committing his crime; and, 280 WHEREAS: Remuneration of injury incurred while in the direct action of 290 committing a crime is a threat to the substance, security, peace of 300 mind, and justice of any society of law-abiding citizens; and, 310 WHEREAS: In October of this year, Equal Employment Opportunity 320 Commission (herein EEOC) Chairwoman Ida L. Castro announced 330 the expansion of EEOC regulations and protections to 340 undocumented illegal workers; and, 350 WHEREAS: This expansion will result in illegal workers receiving backpay, 360 damages, attorneyâs fees and even reinstatement to their jobs 370 regardless of the fact that they were in the act of committing the 380 crime of working illegally; and, 390 WHEREAS: The reinstatement of illegal workers to their jobs would make the 400 federal government a party to the federal crime of employing 410 undocumented workers; and, 420 WHEREAS: A regulation which does not hold the weight of law cannot 430 supercede a law; and, 440 WHEREAS: A regulation which would force the federal government to break a 450 federal law is ludicrous in nature and ignorant in intent; and, 460 WHEREAS: A regulation which would cause a violation of federal law and 470 which would also grant safe harbor for a criminal act for which 480 profit may be reaped at the expense of the polity to which the 490 criminal has no allegiance and from which services are taken is an 500 open direct attack on the foundations of said polity and a 510 pummeling of the principles of the social contract. 520 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Maryland Student Legislature 530 condemns the expansion of EEOC protections to undocumented 540 workers citing the clear fact that injuries incurred through 550 improper employment practices cannot be remunerated due to the 560 fact that said injuries occurred while in the act of committing a 570 federal crime; and, 580 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Maryland Student 590 Legislature believes that the attempt to create a bulwark for the 600 commission of federal crimes does not serve a public interest or 610 the common good; and, 620 BE IT FURTEHR RESOLVED: That the Maryland Student 630 Legislature believes that the establishment of these protections is a 640 disservice to the interests and rights of every citizen of our polity, 650 the United States of America. 660 MANDATES: President William Clinton, United States of America 670 Chairwoman Ida L.
